The Buyer is responsible for securing accurate parts to support the production schedule at the production facilities.


  • Responsible for purchased material planning processes from placing purchase orders, follow up with supplier on time delivery, and inventory control.

  • Responsible for material planning process for nonstandard and customer supplied parts.

  • Coordinates material availability between production and warehouse.

  • Expedites material to remedy shortage problems.

  • Coordinates Engineering changes and manages the change into production.

  • Provides other support to production and management as required.



  • At least an associate degree from a community college is required.

  • Able to understand bills of material and part drawings

  • Understand forecasting and planning for production

  • Purchasing/buyer background preferred

  • Self-motivated and driven

  • Competent use of Office products, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
