Fontaine Modification’s Management Co-Op and Internship Program affords an excellent opportunity for an individual to learn our business from the ground up and gain valuable experience while working. See our website here for all our locations. Internships are typically available in:

Real Jobs
As a successful candidate for our program, you will begin by learning and performing real jobs within a business unit. You will be challenged with real projects that will aid in your understanding of our business. At the same time, we will gain a closer understanding of your skills, aptitude, attitude, and interests, helping us guide your professional development.
Actively Involved in your Development
Program participants will work with a mentor
Mentors will be an FMC staff member who is in the middle to upper/senior management ranks
The mentor will stay in close contact with the program participant to answer questions and provide guidance, especially in the first weeks of employment
Benefits
We offer a competitive hourly rate of pay. Students will be considered “part time employees” as far as benefits, but will still be paid overtime when working over 40 hours per week.

Qualifications
Successful completion of credits to achieve junior class standing within your university by the time you start work.
Mechanical or Electrical Engineering are preferred
Accounting, Business, Marketing and other degrees are also considered
Leadership skills
Willingness to make a decision
Ability to “self-direct”
Prior leadership experience in college, social life, athletics, community organizations, etc. given strong consideration
Mechanical aptitude
Our business is trucks. Having a general mechanical knowledge and interest in trucks, cars, motorcycles, etc. is helpful and tends to be given additional consideration
Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
