Inside Sales Representative - Vocational

DESCRIPTION:

Fontaine Modification Company is looking for an Inside Sales Representative for Fontaine Modification’s Vocational Services. The position will be responsible for fielding customer inquiries and constructing quotes for new and existing clients, communicating expected production dates to customers, coordinating with production and engineering teams, being knowledgeable about the trucking industry and modification services offered and provide high levels of customer service. This position will report to the Managing Director of the Vocational Services segment at Fontaine Modification.  The position is in our Charlotte, NC center.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Field phone and email inquiries and process quotes in timely manner

  • Ensure “Best in Class” customer service to each customer, to ensure their loyalty and business to Fontaine Modification. Establish constructive business relationships with each of these customers.

  • Find new business opportunities for existing Fontaine Modification services with new customers.

  • Become a champion for the MHT 80/20 philosophy, and apply the 80/20 toolbox to improve efficiency and reduce complexity.

 

EDUCATION/COMPETENCIES/EXPERIENCES:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from Accredited College or University or equivalent experience

  • Experience with sales or truck specifications and equipment in the trucking industry preferred

  • Be technically conversant with truck terminology

  • Able to handle many conversations daily with customers, the OEM, dealers, vendors and our internal production staff

  • Competent use of Office products, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
