Account Manager



The position will be responsible for calling on targeted class 8 truck fleets, dealers and OEM sales people within the assigned organizations to establish / build account relationships and achieve sales performance goals. This position will report to the VP of Sales within Fleet Services segment at Fontaine Modification.  The position is in our Laredo, TX center.




Manage new engineering projects as directed by the general manager, including:

  • Working closely with customer and internal engineers to satisfy customer requirements.

  • Achieve business growth goals with targeted fleets

  • Ensure “Best in Class” customer service to each customer, to ensure their loyalty and business to Fontaine Modification. Establish constructive business relationships with each of these customers.

  • Find new business opportunities for existing Fontaine Modification services with new customers.




  • Bachelor’s Degree from Accredited College or University or equivalent experience

  • Experience with sales or truck specifications and equipment in the trucking industry

  • Be technically conversant with truck terminology

  • Able to handle many conversations daily with customers, the OEM, dealers, vendors and our internal production staff
